Houston Sports Live Expands Partnership With Willis ISD to Multi-Sport Agreement Following Successful 2026 Baseball Season

WILLIS, Texas — Houston Sports Live announced Thursday that it has expanded its partnership with Willis Independent School District to a multi-sport athletic coverage agreement beginning with the 2026-27 school year, following a successful 2026 baseball season collaboration.

Houston Sports Live originally partnered with Willis ISD during the 2026 baseball season, providing live coverage of Willis High School baseball games throughout the regular season and postseason. Over the course of the season, Houston Sports Live produced 19 broadcasts and reached more than 11,000 viewers across its digital platforms.

Following the success of that initial partnership, Willis ISD and Houston Sports Live have agreed to expand the relationship into a full multi-sport agreement beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

Under the expanded agreement, Houston Sports Live will provide coverage of Willis High School athletics including football, volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball, baseball, softball and soccer, with coverage expanding in scope over the course of the partnership’s phased rollout.

The multi-sport agreement will be implemented through a phased rollout, with additional coverage elements introduced over the first three years of the partnership.

Willis ISD officials said the expanded agreement reflects the district’s commitment to increasing exposure and access for student-athletes across all sports.

“Willis Athletics is beyond excited to start this new partnership with HSL,” said Coach Trent Miller, Head Football Coach/Athletic Director. “The ability for our fans across the globe to tune in and watch our athletes compete is next level and a game changer for our programs! As a family member or fan, they will be able to see live in game action free of charge [and get to] receive up to date access! We are looking forward to the beginning of a very successful partnership!”

Houston Sports Live will provide live and on-demand coverage of Willis High School athletics through HoustonSports.Live, YouTube and additional digital platforms, including live game broadcasts, interviews, highlights and feature programming throughout the school year. Coverage will also be available through the Houston Sports Live mobile app upon its planned launch in August of 2026.

Coverage will include regular season matchups, district competition and postseason coverage across all covered sports as part of the partnership, with additional scheduling and production details to be released prior to the start of each season.

The Willis ISD partnership marks an expansion of Houston Sports Live’s presence in the Greater Houston area, continuing the network’s growth in high school sports coverage across Texas.

Additional details regarding broadcast schedules and sport-by-sport coverage plans will be announced closer to the start of the 2026-27 school year.
